Boys that have crossed Rainbow Bridge
Domino
DOB: 4-28-03  DOD: 8-8-05
I always called him "My Dommie",
and a special boy, he was. He was
the very first pet store rat I
bought for myself, and not for the
kids. He was "my rat". He is the
reason I have the love for rats,
that I have. When he was older,
and only had a few days left to
live, my world stopped.
I held him, and kissed him, and
cuddled with him, and told him I
loved him in every sentence. I
knew the chores would wait for
me, so I let them pile up, until the
day I had to put him down. His
cancer had finally gotten the best
of him, and he was ready to go.
After 28 months, I still wasn't ready.

There are several ratties that I didn't get pics of (or misplaced), because I didn't have a
camera, but I do want to mention their names here: Snowflake, Patch, and Cosmo

I called him "My Boo-Boo". He was
the first male to start my rattery. For
all of his life, I believed he was
American Blue, it wasn't until his line
was bred further down the line that I
learned he was a Russian Blue. He
was a very special boy. I miss him
every single day. He was here for
just 21 short months, not nearly long
enough, for me.
Alec was always easy  to tell apart from
his brother Alex. They were like twins,
except in personality. Alec gave kisses,
and he loved to be cuddled, I loved
that, as well. He was here for only 11
months. He got a URI, and we tried
every medicine, but he just never
responded to any of them. Kisses
across Rainbow Bridge for you baby boy!

C.C. had come a long way. A
rescue I took in. He enjoyed
the rest of his life here. He'll
be missed.

Tragically, and suddenly
Leo has gone to Rainbow Bridge.

I don't even know where to start with Christopher.
He was a boy that is hard to put into words. Special
doesn't even begin to describe him. He was my
daughter's rat, but oh, did he own my heart. He was
a people rat, meaning he'd rather be with people,
than with other rats. I can't even put into words the
pain we feel right now.
Christopher will forever be in our hearts. He will be
thought of, and missed every single second, of
every single day. Enough love to last a lifetime. I will
miss those daily baths. I don't know how we are
going to get through our lives, without him in it.
I hope he is happy to be with his brother again.

Alex has crossed Rainbow
Bridge to be with his brother.
He had been on antibiotics
since Thanksgiving, but he was
not improving. He got to the
point where he was gasping for
air, and I could hear him
breathing when I walked into
the rat room. He stopped
eating, and I couldn't stand to
see him suffering anymore.

Lenny and his brother Squiggy
were very close up until the very
end, when they crossed Rainbow
Bridge together. They were both
near, and dear to my heart. Love
you boys.

Copper struggled most of his life
with URI's, they finally got the best
of him. Copper was such a sweet
boy, he loved to give kisses. What
a handsome boy he was.
Luke leaving was a total shock! He
was fine one day, and gone the
next, I never saw it coming. What a
beautiful boy. Drew and I sure miss
him. =(
Squiggy is happy to be with his
brother.
